Craft Vanilla Extract

Description

Our vanilla extract is an alcohol-based extract, made the traditional way using vodka as a neutral carrier to properly draw out and preserve vanilla’s natural flavor compounds.

Alcohol is essential in real vanilla extract—it acts as a solvent that extracts both water-soluble and oil-soluble flavor components from the bean, resulting in a fuller, more complex vanilla than glycerin or imitation alternatives. During baking and cooking, the alcohol evaporates, leaving behind pure vanilla flavor.

We use a pressure extraction method to accelerate and deepen this process, then age the extract with whole organic vanilla beans for continued flavor development over time. The result is a rich, well-rounded vanilla with warmth, depth, and true character.
