Midland Mill & Pantry ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use midlandmill.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Order information: name, email address, and phone number (if provided), and the items you purchase, when you place an order or sign up for a standing order.
- Payment information: we never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; see Stripe's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
- Contact form submissions: your name, email, and message, when you contact us.
- Email sign-ups: your email address (and name, if provided) when you subscribe to our newsletter, download a guide, or opt in at checkout.
- Account information: if you create an account, your email address and order history, so you can view past orders and manage a standing order.
- Automatically collected information: basic technical data (like pages visited) that our hosting provider (Netlify) and any analytics tools we use may log.
How we use your information
- To fulfill and communicate about your order, including pickup scheduling and reminders
- To process payments and standing-order billing through Stripe
- To respond to contact form messages
- To send marketing emails, only to people who've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time
- To maintain your account, if you have one
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam/fraud
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the Site work: Stripe (payments), Supabase (our database host), Resend (transactional email), and Netlify (hosting) — each only to the extent needed to provide their service to us, and each with their own privacy obligations.
Data retention
We keep order and account records as long as needed for business, accounting, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time (see "Your choices" below), subject to records we're required to keep (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes).
Your choices
- Marketing emails: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or contact us.
- Account data: log in to your account to view your info, or contact us to request a correction or deletion.
- Standing orders: manage or cancel anytime from your account's billing portal.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
