Terms of Service
Draft — reviewed internally, not yet confirmed by counsel. Effective date: August 10, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of midlandmill.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Midland Mill & Pantry ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Products and orders
We sell fresh-milled flour, wheat berries, baked goods, pantry staples, and related items ("Products"). We make an effort to display accurate pricing, descriptions, and photos, but small variations (weight, color, appearance) are normal for small-batch and hand-made goods.
Placing an order is an offer to buy; we accept it once your payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order — for example, if a Product is unexpectedly out of stock or if we suspect fraud — in which case we'll refund any payment already collected.
Pickup only — no shipping
All orders are local pickup only. We don't offer shipping or delivery. You'll choose a pickup date and time at checkout, subject to availability, and we'll send a reminder before your scheduled pickup. Orders not picked up within a reasonable time after the scheduled slot may be canceled; see ourRefund & Pickup Policy for details.
Standing orders (subscriptions)
Midland Flour Monthly and Midland Flour Monthly PLUS are recurring monthly charges that continue until canceled. You can manage or cancel a standing order anytime from your account. Canceling stops future charges but doesn't refund charges already processed for the current billing period.
Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't store your full card number. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Any applicable sales tax will be shown and collected at checkout.
Accounts
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Site to do anything unlawful, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt to access it in a way not permitted by these Terms (e.g., scraping, automated abuse of forms or checkout).
Disclaimers
Products are made in small batches and may be produced in a kitchen that also handles wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and other common allergens. We are not a certified allergen-free facility, and cross-contact is possible even in Products that don't list a particular allergen among their ingredients. Ingredient and allergen information is provided to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing, but recipes and suppliers can change without notice. If you have a food allergy, celiac disease, or another sensitivity, please contact us before ordering — we're glad to answer what we can, but we cannot guarantee any Product is free of a specific allergen, and by placing an order you accept the risk of a reaction from consuming our Products.
The Site and Products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties beyond those that can't be excluded, and our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
